Who we are and what this site is
boosterxtreviews.com is published by Verdict Room Media, LLC, 46 Thames Street, Suite 3, Newport, RI 02840, trading as The Verdict Room. It is an independent review publication. It is not the official Booster XT website, it is not operated by or affiliated with the maker of Booster XT, and it does not sell, ship, bill or refund anything. When you click a price link here you leave this site and land on the manufacturer's own store, where the transaction is entirely between you and them.
How the money works
Links on this site marked as price checks, and the buttons that go with them, are affiliate links. If you follow one and place an order, the merchant pays us a percentage of that order. You pay the same price you would pay typing the address into your browser by hand. Nothing is added to your total, no code is required and no data about your purchase beyond the fact that one occurred reaches us.
That commission is how this publication pays for the products it tests and the hours it takes to test them. We think readers deserve to know that up front rather than in a footer, which is why the notice sits at the top of every article and again beside every button.
What the commission does not buy
- It does not buy a score. Our eight category scorecard and its fixed weights are published on how we test and applied the same way to every product.
- It does not buy a positive review. We publish one and two star buyer reviews, the complaints that hold up and the criticisms of the label on the same page as the buy button.
- It does not buy edits. No manufacturer sees an article before it publishes, and no manufacturer has ever had a critical section removed from this site.
- It does not buy placement. We do not rank products by commission rate and we do not accept payment to feature one.
FTC position
United States advertising rules require a clear and conspicuous disclosure of a material connection between a publisher and a seller, under the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, 16 CFR Part 255. Our reading of that obligation is that a disclosure buried in a legal page nobody opens does not satisfy it. So the connection is disclosed in three places: a banner above the article, a note beside every purchase button, and the footer of every page. This page is the long form version, not the only version.
About the testimonials and figures on this site
Buyer quotes are drawn from public review streams and are presented as the experiences of the people who wrote them, not as typical results. Individual results vary and nothing on this site is a promise of an outcome. The aggregate ratings and percentages we publish cover a stated collection period and are refreshed when we update an article. Reviews readers submit through our own form are moderated by hand and are not counted in any aggregate score.
